Vote Early by Mail (Absentee)
Request an absentee ballot now.
Registered voters have two ways to request an absentee ballot: sign up online or mail a paper application to your local clerk.
To ensure there is enough time to receive and return an absentee ballot, you should submit the absentee ballot application at least 15 days before Election Day.
When you vote absentee, you can return your completed absentee ballot to your city or township clerk's office, a satellite office provided by your clerk, or a secure drop box provided by your clerk.
Vote Early In-Person
1. Find your early voting location at mi.gov/vote. You can also call your city or township clerk and ask for information.
2. Go to an early voting site for your community and vote.
If you happen to miss early voting, no worries, you can still vote election day.
Vote on Election Day
Polls are open from 7am-8pm on election day. If you are in line by 8pm on election day you can vote.
